Recent Portraits, plus my excuse for not blogging recently

Here are a few portraits I shot over the last 2 days, the 1st is of actress Jules Bruff, who was in David Fincher's "Zodiac. 2nd is of a local high school baseball star, and 3rd is longtime Oakland resident Hermanee Dyer. I have been rapidly changing my photography towards environmental portraits (with the help of my new lights!) and building a portfolio for the direction I want to go. I also have been working every day on multiple photo essays for the Oakland Tribune's annual murder map project, which I will link to and post after publication.
